The above diagram shows the pressure-temperature diagram for fluoropolymers (PTFE and PFA) used in the InterApp Bianca butterfly valves. The increase in temperature or pressure weakens the attraction between the polymer particles and, when passes the critical point, deforms the polymer used in the valve liner, and impairs the valve functionality.

Pressure/temperature diagram for rubbers

Rubbers are highly influenced by corrosion, which depends on media concentration and temperature. This makes a pressure/temperature diagram for rubbers unavailable. However, it is possible to draw a temperature/concentration diagram.

The following diagrams show the suitable material for different temperatures and concentrations of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid:
